OUR TESTING PROCESS

INSPECTION

Thoroughly test all camera functions (Shutter, flash, buttons, zoom, focus).
Check sensor for damage.
Evaluate lens condition - Checking for scratches, marks, damage and dust/fungus.
Battery health and compartment/terminals.
Memory card slot and compatibility.
Review overall cosmetic condition, including permanent damage such as wear, water damage and corrosion.

REFURBISH AND CLEAN

Professionally clean sensor and viewfinder.
Clean body of the camera, all cosmetic areas are thoroughly wiped down with suitable tools.
LCD screen full clean and polish.
Replace light seals is required (film cameras).
Factory reset camera to default settings.
Ordering new battery and/or charger if required (brand new replacement batteries and chargers are tested prior to listing).

FINAL CHECK

Run full functionality test again.
Ensure all accessories are present and working correctly (apply light cleaning if required).
Final cosmetic check for cleanliness.
Sanitise camera and prepare for photos for listing.
Write up final condition list with all important notes and supplied with a grade based on our grading system.
Cameras are only listed when 100% satisfied with testing process.

We have created our very own custom box, lined with foam to perfectly fit your camera. Each camera that doesn't include its original box will be shipped in our box, it does the perfect job to protect your camera when its on the way to you but also is amazing for safe keeping when you're not using it!

Each order also includes a business card, Thank You card (with a cheeky discount for future purchases) and a FilmdCo sticker.
